My new course ''Writing II: Rhetorical Composing''

Yesterday, I started my first online class via: www.coursera.com, the course is about Writing: Rhetorical composing, provided by the OHIO university, It is my first online experience for learning , so at the beginning I was very frightened, in one hand because even if I practice English since 20 years , I can never say that I perform it, because it remains always a foreign language for me as an Algerian citizen, whose languages since childhood are Amazigh, Arabic and French .

However, as the course started, every participant started to introduce himself in the forums, and in the facebook group , and there I discovered that I have classmates from all over the world, and there are a huge number of participants that English is their foreign language as me, so I became more confident and exited to meet all these people and to learn new tips about writing, and why not to get a certification .

I will give you step by step my weekly adventurous with writing, so I wish that I will improve and refine my crafts as our teachers said.

Rhetorical Composing is a course where writers exchange words, ideas, talents, and support. You will be introduced to a variety of rhetorical concepts—that is, ideas and techniques to inform and persuade audiences—that will help you become a more effective consumer and producer of written, visual, and multimodal texts. The class includes short videos, demonstrations, and activities.

We envision Rhetorical Composing as a learning community that includes both those enrolled in this course and the instructors. We bring our expertise in writing, rhetoric and course design, and we have designed the assignments and course infrastructure to help you share your experiences as writers, students, and professionals with each other and with us. These collaborations are facilitated through WEx, The Writers Exchange, a place where you will exchange your work and feedback

For this first week, we are asked to introduce ourselves, it seems easy and funny but not really for me because my work will be read by a group of writers, and I think that they are both experts in writing and more precisely English speakers, so I hope that this experience will be benefits for me and of course for all my classmates.
